Accent TV Console

This striking 18^th century French commode is a transitional piece – between Louis XIV and Louis XV. The blue patina has been applied recently by a local artisan. There are two drawers at the top and two full length drawers below. The workmanship is exceptional. All hardware is original. Condition consistent with age and use.

Bone Inlay & Mother of Pearl Care

Since these pieces are made of hand-carved bone/shell set in resin, they require gentle handling to preserve their luster.

• Dust Regularly: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the surface.
• Avoid Moisture: Never use harsh chemicals or wet mops; if a spill occurs, blot it immediately with a dry cloth.
• Sun Protection: Keep inlay furniture away from direct, prolonged sunlight to prevent the resin from yellowing or the bone from fading.
• Buffing: To maintain the shine, you can occasionally apply a tiny amount of colorless wax or a drop of olive oil on a dry cloth to buff the surface.
